In recent years lots of provocative, falsified, and so-called fake news have been spread by separatists through online and printed mass media regarding the occupied territories of Georgia, especially Abkhazia. The misinformation includes false nwes on history, culture, art, science, education and demographic situation.

The senior state and political officials, representatives of diplomatic and scientific circles of the Russian Federation openly perticipate in the above-mentioned  actions as well as in many cases journalists and foreign hired “experts”.

It is  unfortunate that similar cases have become more frequent in Abkhazia from the representatives of different ethnic groups, which is mostly aimed at long-term goals and openly supported by the Armenian Diaspora in the Russian federation as well as other senior representatives of diplomatic missions and foreign policy.

It should be noted that in recent years the legitimate government of Abkhazia representatives, scientists and practitioners have published numerous documents and work papers depicting Abkhazia  / Georgia true History, information on Education, Culture, architecture, art and other topics as well as on the cases of the fundamental human rights violations on occupied territories, destruction of organic eco-social system, historical-cultural heritage and deliberate encroachment of orthodox monuments.
